SHAY LARBY

THE ILLUSTRATOR

Shay is an artist and graphic designer in San Diego, she got her start working at Disneyland as a sketch artist, and went on to get her Bachelor’s from California State University. While graphic design is what pays the bills, illustration is what Shay is really passionate about! She has worked with Sheri on two children’s books so far, and relishes in the experience of bringing a story to life through art. This particular story struck a chord since Shay’s mom is also a Nurse, and it worked out to be a great tribute to her and every nurse’s tireless efforts in the healthcare industry!

Kate Woolley

THE DESIGNER

Kate is an award-winning art director with over 15 years of experience in design and advertising. Kate and Sheri met on the Perinatal Special Care Unit (PSCU) floor during their pregnancies with their children. During that time, Kate spent over 40 days in the hospital on bedrest, and an additional 34 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) before being able to bring her babe home. Kate spent a lot of quality time with the nursing staff during that time, so this project holds a special place in her heart. After those experiences, Kate founded The Noble Paperie, and began creating greeting cards to support mothers walking through miscarriage, infertility, and other pregnancy-related issues.
